Final charges will be processed after your rental is returned, and any unused portion of the pre-authorisation will be released back to your card. You must present a physical, valid credit or debit card and a current, full and valid driver’s licence, both in the driver’s name, at the time of rental, and any additional drivers must also be present and provide a current, full and valid driver’s licence. Please note that Advance does not accept cards displayed on phones or watches and does not allow contactless payment methods such as PayWave; a physical card is required.

Yes, you will still be responsible for paying the applicable excess amount even if a third party is at fault. Once fault is confirmed and the third party agrees to cover the damages, Advance will refund your excess.

As the renter, you are fully liable for any penalty notices, parking fines, traffic violations, tolls, or other related charges incurred during your rental period, including any associated fees or administrative costs. These charges are issued by the relevant authorities and are your responsibility, as specified in your Rental Agreement.
Administrative Infringement Processing Fees cover the costs of managing, handling, and processing fines or penalties incurred during your rental. This includes:
⦁ Transferring the penalty notice or fine into the renter’s name
⦁ Communicating with you and the issuing authority regarding the fine
⦁ Handling and processing payments related to the fine
⦁ Additional administrative work if Advance pays the fine on your behalf and later recovers the cost from you
